Bali Night Clubs: Best Areas, Entry & Local Tips
Where to party in Bali after dark: night clubs by area (Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu), how entry works, getting home safely, and what to skip.
On this page
Last updated November 2026. Bali night clubs cluster in four areas: Kuta and Legian, Seminyak, Canggu and Uluwatu. Real nightclubs run late indoors, while beach clubs peak by day and at sunset, so pick by area and by sequence. For the island-wide picture, start with our island-wide after-dark guide.

Bali Night Clubs at a Glance
Use this table to choose a base before you pick a venue. Venue policies, fees and hours change often. Confirm each one on the venue's own page or Instagram before you go.

| Area | Vibe | Best for | Getting home |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kuta and Legian | Loud, crowded, club-lined streets | Big-night, late-finish travelers | Easy on foot between venues; ride-hail for longer hops |
| Seminyak | Polished rooms, dressier crowd | Couples and groups who want a design-led night | Usually simple; check ride availability late |
| Canggu | Casual, beach-town party mix | Surf and social travelers | Plan a booked ride; traffic can be slow |
| Uluwatu | Cliff and beach venues, sunset into night | Travelers who stay on the Bukit | Long drives; arrange a driver round trip |
Nightclubs vs. Beach Clubs: What's the Difference in Bali?

Bali uses "club" for two different things. Beach clubs sell daybeds, pools and sunset, then turn into parties. Night clubs are built around the dance floor and the late hours. Several venues do both, which is why search results blur them. Azul in Legian is one example. Reviewers describe most of its party as happening in the bamboo building's upper-level bar rather than by the pool.
For daytime depth, read our Bali beach club guide. Come back here when you want after-dark planning.

Best Night Clubs by Area
Each area below lists the venues named in our research, plus one "skip if" line. Treat every venue as a lead to verify, not a guarantee of current opening hours.

- Kuta and Legian: the clubs along Jalan Legian are the classic late-night run, and Sky Garden on Legian is the best-known name here. Skip if you dislike crowds or loud music. Our Kuta after-dark options cover the strip in more detail.
- Seminyak: Potato Head is the headline name. Reports describe it as more about relaxing than hard partying, and children are reportedly allowed, so check its current policy. Skip if you want a pure dance-floor night. See our Seminyak night picks and our Seminyak sunset venues.
- Canggu: FINNS on Jalan Pantai Berawa is the best-known party venue. It is reportedly adults-only now. Skip if you want a quiet evening. Our Canggu late-night picks and Canggu day-to-night venues go deeper.
- Uluwatu: Savaya and El Kabron in Pecatu mix cliff views with DJ nights. Reviewers describe both as costly, and one says Savaya sells nightclub tickets more easily than beach-club seating. Skip if you are on a tight budget. Browse our Uluwatu cliff venues for the daytime side.
Costs, Cover Charges and Opening Hours

We found no verified current entry prices for these venues, so we give none. Check each venue's official page or booking link for the current fee, opening hours and table rules. Budget for five things: entry, minimum spend, drinks, food and the ride home. Entry can change with the DJ. Reviewers say Savaya always charges entry, while Tropical Temptation reportedly has no entrance fee but a minimum spend. Its DJs reportedly start at 3 p.m.
Tropical Temptation's DJs reportedly start at 3 p.m., but it is hard to reach from much of the island, so book your ride first.
How to Plan Your Night
Start with a sunset beach club, then move to a club later. Eat before midnight so you are not buying food at venue prices. Our Bali dinner options help with the early part of the evening. A quieter start fits the occasion, and our romantic dinner picks work for couples. Pre-drinks are easier at a bar, so see easier bar nights or rooftop bars. Book ahead where possible. Some venues take table bookings by WhatsApp, and reviewers report that walk-ins can be seated away from the best tables.

Where to Stay and How to Get Home
Sleep close to where you party. Kuta and Legian let you walk between venues. Seminyak keeps rides short. Canggu and Uluwatu need a planned way home, because the venues are spread out and far from other areas. Reviewers note that some Uluwatu-side venues, such as Tropical Temptation on Melasti Beach, are hard to reach from much of the island. Arrange a booked ride or a driver round trip before you leave, and check current drive times. Avoid riding a scooter home after drinking.
Safety, Drinks and Mistakes to Avoid
Watch your drink from pour to finish. Do not accept drinks from strangers. Keep your phone and passport copy secure. Read current advice from your government's travel advisory and the official Indonesia tourism site before you travel. Methanol-tainted spirits are a known risk with homemade drinks. If you want to try the local spirit, read our arak drinking guide first and buy from licensed venues.
- Confirm entry and minimum spend before you pay.
- Book a ride home before you need it.
- Skip the scooter after drinking.
- Carry only the cash and cards you need.
Adults-Only and Age Policies
Policies differ by venue and change. A competitor review reports that FINNS became adults-only on May 1, 2025, with entry for guests aged 16 or over. The same source says Potato Head allows children and that Luna is open to children, with its nightclub area adults-only in the evening. Verify each on the venue's official page.
Canggu's FINNS admits guests aged 16 or over, while Seminyak's Potato Head reportedly allows children, so match the venue to your group.
