Nusa Lembongan attractions: plan your cove-and-cliff days
Nusa Lembongan's sights sit mostly on the coast, and the island's signature spot, Dream Beach, is a small cove reached by a short walk down from clifftop parking on the southwest shore. Devil's Tear next door pairs naturally with it, so a half day covers both the view above and the quieter sand below.
The west coast handles the rest. Jungut Batu, the island's longest and busiest beach, has a protected lagoon for casual swims, four reef breaks offshore, and a west-facing bay where beachfront seats fill fast before sunset. South of it, Mushroom Bay is a sheltered white-sand cove where fast boats from Sanur beach themselves and passengers wade ashore, good for gentle swimming and beachfront restaurants.
If you want a break from sand, head to the northeast corner, where the mangrove forest is seen from a boat, kayak or paddleboard rather than on foot; allow about an hour on the water plus travel from the west-coast beaches.

Beaches that cost nothing to visit
Entry to Dream Beach is free, though parking or facility fees may apply. Jungut Batu Beach charges no entrance fee for the public beach. Mushroom Bay also has free entry. Those three cover the island's main swimming and sunset spots without a ticket.
The mangrove forest is the exception: its cost isn't listed, and it is visited by boat, kayak or paddleboard, so treat it as a paid activity unless you arrange your own craft.
The one outing worth arranging ahead
Booking a mangrove boat tour is recommended. You see the northeast-corner forest from the water, with mudskippers and crabs on the muddy banks, and plan about an hour on the water plus travel from the west-coast beaches.
The beaches need no reservation. Dream Beach has no formal hours or gate and is accessible all day, while Jungut Batu and Mushroom Bay are open public strands.
